Results in the second show of San Remo 2020

After the beginning, Tuesday, the Italian contest San Remo held tonight the second show, where we meet the second half of each category in the competition: Campioni (artists with a musical career) and Nuove Proposte (new artists).

Amadeus (Amedeo Sebastiani), well-known TV and radio presenter, has been the host of the show from the Teatro Ariston in the Italian city, with guest artists as Ricci e Poveri or the duet between Tiziano Ferro and Massimo Ranieri.

Twelve participants of Campioni performed their songs, that were evaluated by a demoscopic jury, unveiling their votes when the show ended:

• Pinguini Tattici Nucleari - “Ringo Starr”
• Tosca - “Ho amato tutto”
• Michele Zarrillo - “Nell’estasi o nel fango”
• Levante - “Tiki Bom Bom”
• Giordana Angi - “Come mia madre”
• Paolo Jannacci - “Voglio parlarti adesso”
• Enrico Nigiotti - “Baciami adesso”
• Elettra Lamborghini - “Musica (E il resto scompare)”
• Rancore - “Eden”
• Junior Cally - “No grazie”

First place has been for Francesco Gabbani, Italian representative in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. After were added all points from the demoscopic jury in both nights and Gabbani is the first the overall ranking, followed by Le Vibrazioni and Piero Pelú:

Four participants of Nuove Proposte competed in two duels, and the winner each duel advanced to the semi-finals on Thursday:

Duel 1:

Duel 2:

• Marco Sentieri - “Billy Blu” (52%)
• Matteo Faustini - “Nel bene e nel male” (48%)
