Lithuania announces the participants of Eurovizijos Atranka 2020

Lithuanian broadcaster, LRT has unveiled the 36 participants of the national final, Eurovizijos Atranka 2020.

Eurovizijos Atranka 2020 will start on January 11, with a show each week till February 15, the date for the Grand Final, if LRT doesn't make changes.

These 36 acts will compete distributed in 3 heats, advancing to semi-finals in each one 9 participants from 12. After that, in each semi-final from 9, 4 will become finalists. Finally, 8 artists will compete for the victory in the final of February 15.

The decision about the candidates qualified in each show will be done by a mix of jury and public voting.

Monika Marija, runner-up in 2019, as well as the veteran Aistė Pilvelytė, 12th time in the contest, are in the list the candidates that will compete for the ticket to Rotterdam. 

The last participant in Eurovision of Lithuania was Jurij Veklenko, with "Run with the lions", only could be 11th in the second Semi-final, only 1 point short of the qualification to the final.
