Georgia will select, tonight, its candidate for Rotterdam 2020


New Year's Eve, and Georgia, with the national final and talent show, Georgian Idol, will choose its representative in Rotterdam, next year.

Four lucky artists have reached the final: Tornike Kipiani, Barbara Samkharadze, Tamar Kakalashvili, Mariam Gogiberidze. Tornike, voting favorite during the last five weeks, is the candidate with more options to get the ticket to represent Georgia in Eurovision 2020.
  • Barbare Samkharadze – “This Is Me” (Keala Settle)
  • Mariam Gogiberidze – “Writing’s On The Wall” (Sam Smith)
  • Tamar Kakalashvili – “White Flag” by (Bishop Briggs)
  • Tornike Kipiani – “Love, Hate, Love” (Alice in Chains)
Guest of the interval act will be Tamar Kakalashvili‘s Gori Girls’ Choir, performing a Christmas Medley, and Mariko Lezhava, former Georgian Idol and Georgian Nacional Final 2017 participant.

Although the final choice will be done by the public (calls, SMS and Facebook Messenger), will there are a jury, formed by  David Aladashvilli (pianist and host of musical contest Ranina), Natia Todua (Unser Lied für Lissabon) and Tinatin Berdzenishvilli (General Director of Georgian First Channel 1TV ).

The show, aired from Tbilisi Big Concert Hall (Tbilisi), and hosted by Ruska Makashvilli, will start at 18:00h CET (21:00h Georgian Local Time). You can follow live on 1TV and Youtube Official Channel of  Georgian Idol.
